Off camera flash!!
Working to a budget but still want fast reacting Flash heads and the cheap ones from ebay just don't hack it. Well here is a more economical alternative to the over priced mains powered "pro" Flash units.
They are called Lencarta and you can find them at www.lencarta.com. I've been using the 300 elite pro's for a year now and they have not let me down.
We've done location work using them to light up a hop picking shed, we also use them on our Event photography such as proms. Not to mention using them in the studio. The fast recycle rate helps you capture several shots in the time other makes take to come back on.
I've attached the link to the specs page of the 300 elitepro page.
I did get to play with the safari system and 200's they are all great.

Hello I'm back!!!
Well I've not posted anything for a little while, I have been busy which is always good.
Just as a taster of some of the things that I've been doing here is a little video of a great wedding that I did recently.
It was a great day with Hannah and Matt tying the knot at Brockencote Hall. We had to battle through varying weather conditions, but we had a great time and got great shots of their day.

Photography tips 2012 - Landscapes
1. Plan what your going to photograph.-There is nothing worst than just snapping and praying you get the shot.
2. You need to get a good sturdy tripod. A good sturdy tripod does not have to be the most expensive. get the right one for you camera weight.
3. Remember the rule of thirds- Break the picture into three sections if the have a beach seen you would have 1/3 beech, 1/3 sea, 1/3 sky
4. Time of day- Think about when the light is best for your shot is the subject east facing so the sunrise would be best or is it west facing in which case sunset would be better. It can make all the difference form being a nice photo to a great photo.
5. Water proofing for both your camera and yourself- nothing worst than damaging your equipment and losing the shot, there are lots of options on the market from £10.00 to £150.00. In addition to this remember warm clothing you don't want to freeze to death.
